Meet Kevin

Kevin Bachman is The CRA Doctor and host of the podcast, Background Check Radio. With 20 years of experience, Kevin is a thought leader and industry expert providing financial, strategic and operational solutions to owners and senior management to increase compliance, satisfaction and profit. He also advises private equity and venture capitalists on opportunities within this space.

Bachman ardently believes organizations should think “what can be?” and “why not?” when considering how to grow their business or increase their profits. He advocates swimming toward open waters and letting others fight themselves over a pool of clients loyal to no one but the lowest price.  

He is frequently invited to write, speak and present by CRAs, PBSA, employers, and vendors in our space. Kevin is the Chair of the PBSA Background Screening Credentialing Council and serves on the Industry Practices Steering Committee. He often runs full-day executive leadership and training sessions on-site for his clients. 

Bachman has a BA in communications and a MA in communications management from John Carroll University. He lives in Cleveland, Ohio with his two kids, his wife, a bearded dragon and a 5-year-old goldfish. In his free time, he coaches youth baseball and roots obsessively for the New York Yankees and Syracuse Orangemen.
